Winter weather has never really bothered me.  I enjoy the variety of the seasons in New York.  I have been watching the different atmospheric effects the bitter cold has on the sky, clouds and water.  I see the browns and blacks in the dead foliage and bare trees and a beautiful contrast to the sky.  I enjoy trying to match the colors on my palette to the ones outside.  With spring just around the corner, I’m determined to explore these colors in every opportunity.
