Reflected Environments
Much of my art is inspired by nature. The earth, sky and water offer an almost endless supply of unique designs, unusual organic shapes and amazing colors. Man-made structures alter the elements, design, shape and color of things in both positive and negative ways. Changes seem to be coming at break-neck speed these days and exploring this has been an interesting process for me.
The landscape reflects back to us changes – both beautiful and ugly at times. I believe we can think of our environment as a mirror to our values. It would also seem that the more time we spend in nature the more we will notice change.
